Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how QuoteDeck uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit quotedeck.io or use QuoteDeck's quoting software platform and related services. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, and device identifiers, can also store or read information from your browser or device. These technologies help the Service recognize your browser, keep you signed in, remember settings, and understand how QuoteDeck is used.
2. Types we use
We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies. Some are required for the Service to work; others support preferences, analytics, and attribution.
| Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect forms from cross-site request forgery, and keep the Service available. | Session or as needed to provide the Service |
| Functional | Remember product preferences such as theme settings, sidebar state, recently used views, and quote workflow choices. | Up to 30 days unless you clear them sooner |
| Analytics | With consent, measure a limited seven-event product funnel using masked, allowlisted properties. Session recording and automatic capture are disabled. | Up to 12 months |
| Marketing | Measure attribution for QuoteDeck marketing pages and demo requests on quotedeck.io. | Up to 90 days |
3. Third-party cookies
QuoteDeck uses service providers that may set cookies or similar technologies when they support the Service. These providers include Amazon Web Services for API hosting and storage, Vercel for frontend hosting and edge delivery, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email delivery, OpenRouter and Google for AI-powered features, Google Analytics for privacy-consented usage analytics, PostHog for consented product analytics, and Sentry for error monitoring. PostHog receives opaque user, tenant, quote, and proposal identifiers; it does not receive proposal-link tokens, customer contact details, free text, or pricing values from this instrumentation.
Third-party integrations you connect, such as social media platforms used by Marketing Hub, may also use their own technologies under their own policies. Review those providers' policies before enabling or using the integrations.
4. Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, authentication, proposal signing, quote workflows, or other core Service features may not work correctly.
Where required, QuoteDeck will ask for consent before using non-essential analytics or marketing cookies. You can also use browser-level privacy controls or third-party opt-out tools where available.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required.
6. Contact
