Keep item identity clear
Use durable names and SKUs so reps can distinguish similar models in quote pickers. Add current product photos and specifications where they help customers understand the proposal.
Ownership and visibility
Catalog data belongs to the dealer workspace. Active status controls normal quote-builder visibility while preserving products already referenced by historical quotes.
