Connect Zapier to QuoteDeck

Authorize Zapier once for your workspace, then start automated workflows when a proposal is viewed, signed, paid, or ordered.

Administrators5 min readPlan feature

Availability: Growth and Scale

Before you begin

  • You need an administrator role. A sales rep or manager can't authorize the workspace.
  • Your dealership needs a Growth or Scale plan.
  • You need a Zapier account. Zapier is billed separately by Zapier.

Connect the workspace

  1. 1Open Settings and choose the Integrations tab.
  2. 2Find the Zapier card and choose Connect.
  3. 3Review the access being requested and approve it.
  4. 4Confirm the card now shows your workspace as connected.
Keep in mind: One administrator connects on behalf of the whole dealership. Your reps never enter a credential and never see one.

What Zapier can start a workflow on

  • Proposal Viewed — a customer opened the proposal. Repeat views by the same person within 30 minutes don't start another workflow.
  • Proposal Signed — a customer e-signed, including who signed and the lease term they chose.
  • Deposit Paid — a customer paid the deposit on a signed proposal.
  • Quote Ordered — a quote moved into fulfillment, including the status it moved from.
  • Delivery Completed — a shipment's Delivery & Acceptance was issued, with each machine's serial, tag, and install date when captured. A corrected reissue starts the workflow again.

What Zapier can do inside QuoteDeck

  • Create a company from a web form, a CRM record, or a list.
  • Create a contact on an existing company.
  • Add a note to the customer's activity timeline.
  • Look up an existing company, contact, or quote before writing, so you don't create a duplicate.
Keep in mind: Zapier can't change pricing, build or send a quote, or delete anything. Those stay in QuoteDeck deliberately.

If a workflow stops running

  • Open the Zapier card in Settings and check the connection state and delivery health.
  • A connection shown as disconnected needs an administrator to reconnect it.
  • Removing the administrator who authorized the connection also ends it. Reconnect as a current administrator.
  • A connected card with healthy delivery means QuoteDeck sent the event. Check the Zap's own history in Zapier next.

Disconnect

Choose Disconnect on the Zapier card. That revokes the authorization and stops every subscription it created, so running Zaps stop receiving QuoteDeck events immediately.
