Connection model
MCP lets a supported assistant connect to QuoteDeck on behalf of an authorized user. The connection does not grant more QuoteDeck access than that user already has.
Connect a client
- 1Open Admin, then AI assistants or MCP.
- 2Choose the supported client instructions.
- 3Start the connection and sign in to QuoteDeck when asked.
- 4Review the requested access and finish authorization.
- 5Return to the client and test a read-only question first.
Safety and troubleshooting
Revoke connections that are no longer needed. If authorization loops or the client cannot reach a tool, confirm email verification, role permission, client callback settings, and the MCP connection status shown in QuoteDeck.
Keep in mind: Never paste a QuoteDeck password or private API token into an assistant prompt.
