Role-based access
QuoteDeck uses dealer-owned roles and permissions. Sales reps usually work in their assigned territory, managers can review team work, admins maintain dealer configuration, and the account owner controls the broadest settings.
Keep in mind: A missing page or action usually reflects role, permission, plan, or add-on access. It is not evidence that the dealer's data was removed.
Personalized navigation
The sidebar groups Workspace, Customers, Catalog, and Grow areas. Users can keep frequent destinations visible while the complete allowed catalog remains available through navigation customization.
- Core quoting and customer work stays prominent.
- Optional catalog modules can be enabled or hidden by the dealer.
- Plan and add-on workspaces appear only when entitled.
Ask for the smallest needed permission
When a user cannot finish a task, tell an admin the exact page and action. Admins should grant the role or permission required for that responsibility rather than assigning broad access by default.
