QuoteDeck calculates the totals
The pricing engine is the source of truth for quote totals, lease calculations, service totals, fees, discounts, trade-ins, and proposal amounts. Use the values returned in the quote rather than rebuilding the math in a spreadsheet.
Cost Basis and selling price are different values. Cost Basis supports margin and approval checks; the selling price is what the customer pays for the equipment.
Purchase quotes
- Equipment, included fees, discounts, trade-in credits, and tax contribute according to the quote's configured billing rules.
- A fee marked for separate billing is disclosed separately instead of being added again to the displayed total.
- Review the proposal preview before sending to confirm the customer-facing presentation.
Service and FSMA
Service is configured per unit. An FSMA plan can include base volume allowances, base charges, and mono or color overage rates. Your dealer's product and customer-class setup determines which plans are available.
Missing service configuration can block readiness. All-zero per-click rates can be intentional when service is bundled, but QuoteDeck calls them out for review.
Leases and rentals
The monthly payment comes from the selected partner, lease type or program, term, financed amount, and any approved rate treatment. Service may be shown with the monthly amount according to the selected billing setup.
A non-standard term, dealer-paid documentation fee, or amount above a configured finance limit may require management review. The Review step explains the applicable reason.
When a number looks wrong
- 1Confirm the contract type, price agreement, product quantity, and unit selling price.
- 2Check accessories, fees, discounts, incentives, and trade-in credits.
- 3For monthly deals, verify the leasing or rental partner, program, term, and rate selection.
- 4Check the service plan, allowances, and rates on every unit.
- 5Wait for the pricing preview to finish, then compare Review and Cover & Send.
