Pool ownership

Pools belong to the quote and group compatible service units. Mono and color are explicit pool types, and a unit can participate according to the enabled service structure.

Create or assign a pool

1. 1Open the Service pooling section.
2. 2Choose an existing compatible pool or create one.
3. 3Name the pool and select its type.
4. 4Assign the unit and confirm the pooled summary refreshes.
5. 5Review allowance and overage behavior before leaving the step.

Approval and history

Pool-level overage changes can require management approval. Later catalog or service changes do not silently rewrite the pool meaning preserved on an accepted historical quote.
