Enable two-factor authentication
- 1Open your profile settings.
- 2Start two-factor setup.
- 3Scan the setup code with a compatible authenticator app.
- 4Enter the current authentication code to confirm setup.
- 5Store the recovery codes in an approved secure location.
Keep in mind: Setup is not complete until QuoteDeck confirms the authentication code.
Sign in with a code
After your password is accepted, an account with two-factor authentication enabled must provide a current authenticator code or an unused recovery code before QuoteDeck creates the signed-in session.
Manage recovery access
- Each recovery code is intended for one use.
- Regenerating recovery codes replaces the previous set.
- Disabling two-factor authentication requires a fresh security confirmation.
- Contact support if you lose both the authenticator and every recovery code.
Keep in mind: Never send authenticator secrets, current codes, recovery codes, or passwords to QuoteDeck support.
