The problem
Discounting discipline is a sticky note. Exceptions reach customers before a manager sees them, and nobody can say later who approved what, or why.
What QuoteDeck does
- Rules for minimum price, max discount (percent or dollar), and minimum margin — scoped to all deals, an agreement, or a category.
- Three severities: warn the rep inline, require manager approval, or block the save outright.
- Submitting routes a quote from draft to pending and notifies managers; approval re-validates the numbers under lock.
- A rep can't approve their own quote, rejection reasons are captured, and the approval is stamped onto the record.
- The pipeline enforces the same gates — no back-door drag to Approved.
